Moderation
To ensure the integrity of this site, as well as our pursuit of an economy of wellbeing, we are moderating the Thought Pieces and Visual Essays contributed to THENEWLATENCY.com. We will meet once a week to discuss contributions submitted to the website.
The website collects anonymous, cookie free, non-marketable contributions to a journal question that will be changed on a monthly basis. We have created this space as medium of expression; ideas, opinions and discussion points shared through both words and images. While we are able to accept most contributions, we acknowledge that we have a responsibility to manage the safety of our users. Our goal it to create a fully inclusive, diverse and safe space on the internet that accommodates a broad spectrum of perspectives. As such, we will continue to moderate to a standard that adheres to this sentiment, without filtering any single point of view. We are not politicians, policy makers, cult leaders or pushing for any bias. We are real people with a drive and ambition to use conversation to cultivate actionable solutions, for both people and planet. Personal and environmental wellbeing is a highly complex and subjective area. If at any point you feel that an item of content is offensive, inappropriate, unsafe, inaccurate or not aligned with the purpose of this platform, please do not hesitate to contact our moderation team hello@thenewlatency.com with the content reference number (found on the top left of a content block). We will review all requests and take appropriate action. Similarly, we ask you to be open minded about a wide selection of opinions, even if they differ from your own. This is the purpose of this platform.
